The Temple Mount of Jerusalem:
The picture shows current condition as it is claimed to be the sacred site by the three Abrahamic schools of Jedaism, Islam and Christianity. The first temple was built by the Israelite King Solomon and was destroyed later by the Babylon King Nebuchadnezar at the first billenium BC. Herold the Great rebuilt the temple in 20 BC. The second temple was later destroyed by the Romans and the only remainings left standing as seen here are its side walls.
Angkor Wat of Cambodia:
The temple was built by the Khmer king Suryavarman II in dedication to Vishnu in the twelth century AD. It was later converted to become a Buddhist temple.
